Arrowsmith Ranch is a beautiful homestay rental in California’s stunning Central Coast region, in the heart of Santa Barbara County’s wine region.

The ranch is located in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, part way between Solvang and Santa Ynez, and is only a short drive to Los Olivos, Ballard and Buellton. Your live-in hosts are Tim and Anna Arrowsmith, accompanied by  very friendly dogs and half a dozen chickens. Come and relax at our very private, quiet and secluded home, hidden amongst a variety of mature oak trees and our small vineyard. Spend time visiting local wineries, tasting rooms or restaurants, explore the valley – where there are great trails for hikers and fantastic routes for cyclists – or just relax and enjoy the large swimming pool, sun loungers, heated spa, dining terrace with BBQs and bocce court.

The ranch supports the Old Yeller Ranch Rescue, an organization that shelters and rehabilitates dogs while striving to find their forever home. 5% of all homestay rental fees are donated directly to OYRR.

The property is one of very few in the Santa Barbara County that are fully permitted and therefore compliant with Santa Barbara County Ordinances for short-term rentals and for the collection of Transient Occupancy Tax.
